A beautiful 13 acre, on-site park dedicated to the late Tour-Ed Mine and Museum Founder, Ira Wood. Enjoy your picnic lunch with friends and classmates under the trees. Schools may bring sports equipment for activities after lunch. A covered picnic pavilion is available at no charge, but we suggest you make reservations for your group prior to your visit. Our new park stage features musical performances throughout the year and is available for parties.
The park also holds the Allegheny-Kiski Historical Society’s Fleatique the third Sunday of the month, May through October.
In the Fall… for some reason… miners lock up the shaft to the Tour-Ed Mine and head home in a hurry… not to return until spring. It has been rumored the Tour-Ed Mine is not the place you want to be on a cold, dark fall night!

Haunted Mine Attraction: Throughout October.
Groups welcome. Bravery encouraged!
